The customer had a crack in the lead valley which was allowing rain water to cause damp on the wall below. To remedy the situation we stripped out the tiles, removed the old valley and replaced it with a code 4, 18 inch lead valley. We also cleaned the moss off the roof, made repairs…

The customer was experiencing damp problems in their bedroom. After inspecting the roof we could see the mortar on the coping stones had failed, there were no lead joints between the coping stones and the lead apron was positioned incorrectly. All this was put right and how the customers home is completely water tight.

The lead work on the chimney stack had become worn and had hair line fractures in it. All the flashings and soakers were changed with code 4 lead. The ridge tiles were completely replaced with red concrete interlocking ridge tiles. They were cut to the shape of the roofline and then mitred at the ridge…

Repairs were carried out to the house roof. The lead flashings were sealed with a fibre glass membrane to seal the tears in the lead. The damaged slates were taken out and replaced and the gutters were cleaned out.
